Researching Films

For our project we will be doing a Film Noir based film. For help and information for our film we will be researching other film noir hits such as “Notorious” by Alfred Hitchcock.
Notorious was written by Ben Hecht and directed by Alfred Hitchcock. The film was released in the USA on the 6th of September 1946. The budget for this film was around $2,000,000 and was distributed by RKO Radio Pictures.
This film is an American 1946 thriller about 3 people whose lives become intimately entangled during an espionage operation. The plot of this film is about an American daughter of a convicted Nazi spy, she is recruited by government agent T. R. Devlin (Cary Grant) to infiltrate a group of Germans who have relocated to Brazil after World war II. The story soon starts twisting as certain parts of the cast fall in love and have to go against each other, choosing duty over love. Later Alicia Huberman (Ingrid Bergman), marries the enemy to spy on him and his associates, this leads to him trying to kill Alicia and Devlin coming to save the day.
